1. Overview
This policy applies to the MeloVibe Android application. It describes information that may be processed when you use the app. The information involved depends on the app version, the features you choose, Android permissions, and third-party services integrated into the build.
2. Information and app data
Depending on the features enabled in your version, the following information may be involved:
- Preferences and library data: settings, playlists, liked items, and playback history, where supported. These may be stored locally on your device.
- Search and content requests: search terms, content identifiers, and requests required to retrieve media or metadata from the provider you use.
- Downloaded files: if a download feature is available and you choose to use it, the app may save files to a location permitted by Android and your settings.
- Technical information: network and device-related information may be processed by the app, content providers, or integrated third-party services to deliver, secure, or troubleshoot their services.
We do not claim that every item above is collected directly by BlueMedia. Actual processing depends on the features and services present in the published build.
3. How information is used
Information involved in app use may be used to provide requested features, maintain settings and app functionality, troubleshoot problems, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and support advertising or measurement where those services are included.
4. Content providers and third-party services
The app may connect to third-party content providers to retrieve media, metadata, thumbnails, or search results. When you request content, those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and request details as part of normal network communication. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
If the published build includes advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or other SDKs, those providers may process device or usage data under their own policies. BlueMedia should identify the actual providers and link their policies here before release.
5. Local storage and permissions
Some features may save settings, playlists, liked items, or history on your device. Android permissions may be needed to save files or enable other functions. You can manage app permissions in Android settings. Uninstalling the app generally removes its private app data, but files saved to shared storage may remain until you delete them.
7. Data retention and deletion
Data stored locally may be removed through in-app controls, by clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or by uninstalling the app. Files saved to shared storage may need to be deleted separately. Data handled independently by third-party providers is subject to their retention and deletion practices.
8. Children's privacy
MeloVibe is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can review the matter. This section must be revised if the app is directed to children or designed for a child audience.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the app and the information we handle. However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. Third-party services are responsible for their own systems and security practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its integrations, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
